Executive Director - Ray Verhelst

As the founder of Raymond Verhelst & Associates, Ray brings more than 35 years of executive management, advertising, sales, and marketing experience to the table for large organizations and small business clients. Ray presents a strong mix of both entrepreneurial and analytical skills that include extensive operational, manufacturing and product design experiences, as well as an advanced technology history. With educational degrees in Advertising and Commercial Design, Ray brings his innovative marketing and business concepts to life through compelling visuals and interactive presentations that tell a story.

 

Ray’s experience ranges from the advertising epicenter on Madison Avenue in New York to consumer brand building in action sports products and related international destination management. Highlights include sponsorship and experiential event management during the 1980 US Winter Olympics. These successes transitioned into product development and nationwide destination sales and marketing for major international airlines.

 

As a recognized author and international speaker in the exhibition and event industry, Ray has covered topics in technology, demographic measurement, exhibit construction and the differences between global event markets.

 

Ray has been responsible for the creation of an innovative organization designing and engineering products within the Lithium Rechargeable Battery space. Through extensive global travel within Asia and South Asia, Ray has been working with leading manufacturers of battery cells and the chemistry behind the next generation of rechargeable technology for mobile devices, large energy storage and electric vehicles. This includes the creation of a brand and the establishment of an advanced line of electric power assisted performance sport bicycles for the North American marketplace.

Consulting Director - Jessee Allread

Jessee Allread's expertise is in the creation, structure, and implementation of corporate business strategy and development, marketing strategy, public relations, developer/publisher relationships, and sales & marketing channel development for domestic/international distribution channels. 

 

Working with seasoned companies and promoting early stage initiatives and emerging technologies, Jessee advises companies seeking to expand and refine their operations. He takes a hands-on approach, providing direction for and access to new business. Focusing on leverage and value, Jessee matches innovation & entrepreneurism with markets and channels.  He sets up and advises strategic partnerships, licensing, publishing, and distribution creation domestically and internationally.  He facilitates strategy development with market leaders establishing profitable relationships.

 

In addition to his role in Raymond Verhelst & Associates, Mr. Allread directs OutRep International, where his focus seeks and represents break-through technologies for IT, Cleantech, Consumer Electronics, Healthcare, and Telecommunications. 

Consulting Director - William R. Sell, Revenue & Lead Generation Strategist

Bill Sell has over 33 years in events and media management. and is the Managing Partner with Advisor Communications in Framingham, Massachusetts, a brand development and lead generation agency.

 

Currently, Bill works closely with event clients providing strategic guidance and brand positioning. Bill is also a Director, of Event Development at the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority.

 

Most recently he was overseeing The Pulse Network’s (formerly CrossTech Media and CrossTech Forums) hosted events program group. The Pulse Network’s portfolio included e-newsletter publications, ITo2o: Online-to-Offline and Inbound Marketing Summit conferences. Bill was also on air host and editor of The Pulse Network web TV shows ITEC/ITo2o This Week and New Marketing TV, along with management of key strategic alliances and business development on TPN’s Webinar 3.0 program.

 

Bill’s past leadership experience includes being a Vice President and General Manager of COMDEX in Las Vegas, the development and launch of CeBIT America, and the VON events with responsibilities for audience development, program creation and event sponsorships and sales. Bill also served as the Vice President of Events with Fidelity Investment’s Fidelity Capital/Seaport World Trade Center Boston; and as VP of Planning and Development at IDG’s World Expo, with ComNet and MacWorld Expo as two of the key product groups.

 

A frequent industry speaker on benefits of face-to-face marketing, Bill is a founding member of the Society of Independent Show Organizers and past chair of the New England chapter of the International Association for Exhibitions and Events.

 

Bill has worked with Microsoft, Oracle, Palm/Handspring, IBM, Digital Equipment Corp/Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems, and Fidelity Investments.

Consulting Director - Bruce Kin Huie

Bruce is a results oriented technology sales/marketing executive experienced in collaborating with engineering development, sales and customer support with a goal to drive product revenue opportunities: create and execute strategies for customer engagement, activation and retention. 

 

Fitting in with the theme of research and results at Raymond Verhelst & Associates he is adept with key performance indicators (KPI) designed to obtain measurable results, as well as using direct and channel partnerships to capitalize on and accelerate revenue opportunities in both online & mobile markets.

 

Bruce is involved with a major group handling Enterprise Account Management opportunities with Pharma, Energy, and Aerospace companies. His senior level revenue role is expected to each earn $1.5MM professional services revenue annually. For these clients, he uses a host of important tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, and Salesforce CRM to design revenue-marketing campaigns for business-to-business leads.

 

His previous experience includes extensive roles in developing vertical CRM solutions to build market share for organizations such as Industrial Origami, as well as creating to grow existing venture lead sources via email marketing campaigns, SEM, SEO and blogs.  For Voyavo, Bruce handled social media and SaaS travel applications targeted for travel management companies.

Consulting Director - William Davidge, Worldwide Sales

Bill’s career began with IBM and his accomplishments span each of the technology bridges from enterprise-wide strategy creation and selling, to Internet-ready education. With over twenty years in senior-level sales and marketing management positions in the office automation, electronic media, and e-commerce industries, he was instrumental in the development and implementation of Value Added Reseller, OEM, and Distributor channels for Interleaf Corp., Canaan Computers, and Fortune Systems Corp.

 

As an award winning sales manager at Honeywell and Lexitron Corp., Bill has also been responsible for the development of business development, sales and marketing, and distribution programs for SensorTel Corp., InfoBit Corp., eScene.com, Ultra Media Corp., E-Book Inc., Spectranet Corp., and Hitachi Corporation.

 

Bill is an adjunct professor at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts and Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts concentrating in Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, and Sales and Marketing. Teaching in online, hybrid, and traditional classroom environments, Bill is experienced in developing curricula across multiple educational platforms.

 

Bill has an MS in Telecommunications from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts and a BS in Business Administration from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota.
